What is Hijri Age?
Your Hijri age is your age calculated using the Islamic lunar calendar (Hijri calendar) rather than the Gregorian solar calendar. Since the Hijri year is approximately 354 days long — about 11 days shorter than the Gregorian year — your age in Hijri years will always be slightly higher than your Gregorian age.

Why Does Hijri Age Matter in Islam?
The Hijri calendar is significant in Islamic law (Fiqh) for determining religious obligations that are tied to age:
